- 500g Organic beef mince
- 150g SunBlush® tomatoes, diced
- 50g of breadcrumbs
- 1 free range egg
- 1 red Onion, finely diced
- 2 garlic cloves, diced
- 8 basil leaves, shredded
- ½ tsp oregano
- Salt and pepper to season

You can’t beat a burger that’s made with quality ingredients and cooked to perfection! This recipe is a real winner and delivers big gutsy flavours, perfect on the BBQ but great also on a griddle or under the grill, enjoy!

First a burger wouldn’t be a burger with our some caramilsed oinions in the bap! So, sweat the onions, and garlic in a frying pan until soft and translucent, remove from the heat and allow to cool.
Add the beef, SunBlush® tomatoes, oregano to a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly with your hands, mincing the mixture through your fingers.
Next, add the egg and mix, then slowly add the breadcrumbs ensuring that the mix does not get too dry.
Finally add the basil and season, force the mix into a pastry cutter of the shapes and size you desire then leave to cool in the fridge for 2 hours before cooking either on a searing hot BBQ, griddle pan or grill.
Serve on lightly toasted ciabatta rolls with rocket and fresh tomatoes.
